Ivana Milivojević Slote

MA Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, H.Dip. Psychotherapy, accreditation ICP, APPI, PPS

Ivana Milivojević Slote is a psychoanalytic therapist who holds an MA degree in the area of mental health, Ph.D. in fine literature and M.Sc. in civil engineering. Her psychotherapy practice of over fifteen years has been based on the premise that things that matter are never straightforwardly the way they seem to be. Everything we do, feel and understand stems from, and returns to, everything else that belongs to the context of our lives. She believes that even a psychological or psycho-somatic “symptom” has a unique personal meaning, shaped by one’s life history, relationships, and current circumstances. Hence Ivana’s therapeutic approach is grounded in careful, attentive listening and responding to your individuality.

Services: Ivana works with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties: anxiety and depression, panic attacks and phobias, self-esteem and self-harm, as well as relationship and attachment difficulties, gender and sexuality issues. By exploring with you various interconnected parts of life from different perspectives, she will help you to enable an internal shift to take place, opening a possibility for desired change.

Ivana has authored two monographs, co-authored literature volumes in Serbia, Italy, Switzerland and Ireland, and edited three books of essays and contemporary short stories.
