Clive Brassington is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist.

He works with people experiencing difficulties in life to uncover the underlying cause of their symptoms in the areas of stress, depression, low mood, feelings of emptiness, anger, anxiety, relationship difficulties, bullying, abuse, trauma, dissociation, depersonalisation, and life crisis.

When people find themselves feeling low, distraught, empty and sad, it may seem like it will never change because it feels it has always been this way, though often the person doesn’t even remember how or why it started. Being listened to and truly heard by a qualified psychotherapist – working with what is known to find this unknown – can bring change and restoration to a person. In this way, psychoanalytic psychotherapy helps people gain a sense of self. It enables people to consider what they truly desire. It allows a person to make changes, to think, relax and become.

Clive has served on the Executive of his professional body (IFPP) and worked for twenty years as a method actor prior to training as a psychotherapist.
