Helena Texier is a psychodynamic psychotherapist and psychoanalyst working in independent practice for more than 25 years. Over that time, she has worked with individuals, couples, and older adolescents, experiencing life difficulties from across a very broad range, including those with long-standing mental health issues.
She was involved in teaching at TCD, St Vincent’s University Hospital UCD, on clinical training programmes, to Masters’ level. Helena is currently working towards a professional doctorate in psychotherapy research. She has been invited to speak at professional congresses internationally, was editor of a psychoanalytic journal, has had articles published in English, French and German and contributed to the Edinburgh International Encyclopaedia of Psychoanalysis. She has an interest in neurodiversity.
